Stephen > During a visit to my father's-in-law house, I found a multitude of pine warblers foraging on the ground. This is a first year adult that has not quite obtained the true colors of a pine warbler. Huffman, Texas, February 2009
Stephen > Gulp! This yellow warbler is about to swallow a juicy, green caterpillar. Midlothian, Texas, September 2008
Stephen > I am not sure what it is looking at, but this guy is about as hyperactive as they come. He was moving very quickly. Here, though, he paused just long enough to give me a nice pose. Midlothian, Texas, September 2008
Stephen > Getting a bit of a brunch, this yellow warbler was moving very quickly through the hackberry trees that line the back of my lot. Midlothian, Texas, September 2008
Stephen > I guess Hurricane Ike blew in some yellow warblers. My area was on the side that received the northern winds in the circulation so I suppose I got lucky and received this visitor. I have never seen a yellow warbler in my yard before and I have been here 8 years. I feel fortunate for sure! It had just finished swallowing a small caterpillar. Midlothian, Texas, September 2008
