I happened to notice much movement in the rather tall grass of my neighbor's yard. It turned out to some 5-7 chipping sparrows foraging on the ground. This is but one of them. The dandelion stem sort of gives you an idea of how small these sparrows are. Midlothian, Texas, May 2008.
