Stephen > The smallest of the American falcons, the American Kestrel is such a nimble flier.  Unfortunately, they are also extremely shy and skittish.  I have a tough time photographing them, but this one allowed three clicks of my camera before flying away.  I like the look over the shoulder and the slightly spread tail feathers.
