Some of the prettiest birds in my area. The cardinals all have bright, vivid colors and beautiful songs. Many are spring and summer visitors while the cardinals are here in my area all year.

Stephen > I have been returning to the same field for the past few days now observing the dickcissels feed, sing and chase each other as territories are established in this field. Near Midlothian, Texas, April 2008.
