Some of the prettiest birds in my area. The cardinals all have bright, vivid colors and beautiful songs. Many are spring and summer visitors while the cardinals are here in my area all year.
I am sure that this painted bunting must have been looking back at all the noise the scissor tailed flycatchers were making trying to outsing and battle each other for territory.
