As the title suggests these are some different photographs of sparrows, finches and just a few swallows shot mainly around my home but a few are from out of town.

Stephen > The pasture next to my house is just crawling with different types of sparrows. This is one of the many savannah sparrows that I found foraging in the pasture. Midlothian, Texas, April 2008.

Stephen > I happened to notice much movement in the rather tall grass of my neighbor's yard. It turned out to some 5-7 chipping sparrows foraging on the ground. This is but one of them. The dandelion stem sort of gives you an idea of how small these sparrows are. Midlothian, Texas, May 2008.
