These are hummingbirds from primarily my backyard but there are a few from other parts of Texas as well. They are all ruby throated hummingbirds with just a few images of a black-chinned hummingbird and a buff-bellied hummingbird.
I liked the slightly leaning mid-air position of this male ruby throated hummingbird. It was near one of my feeders in the favorite tree of the hummingbirds this year, my twisted willow tree. Midlothian, Texas, August 2008
