A collection of wrens, thrushes and waxwings. These are some very colorful and active birds. Like many other birds, their songs are especially nice. I am particularly fond of the wrens' songs.

I found this carolina wren singing quite strongly this morning. I don't like the stick directly in front of the wren's beak, but this wren moved so quickly that this was the only shot I could get. Midlothian, Texas, April 2007.
