A collection of wrens, thrushes and waxwings. These are some very colorful and active birds. Like many other birds, their songs are especially nice. I am particularly fond of the wrens' songs.
I was actually trying to photograph hummingbirds when this eastern bluebird in fall plumage flew right in front of my camera. I was using my long lens so I couldn't fit the whole bird in the frame, but I do like the detail and color I was able to photograph in the morning light. I chose a vertical crop for presentation.
