A collection of wrens, thrushes and waxwings. These are some very colorful and active birds. Like many other birds, their songs are especially nice. I am particularly fond of the wrens' songs.
The male bluebird in my yard is much more conspicuous, but from time to time, the female will venture out of the nesting box to get some mealworms at one of my feeders. That is when I captured this image. Midlothian, Texas, March 2009
