Here are a few pictures of some fast moving songbirds.
Well, what can I say? When I visited Los Madrones Ranch in Dripping Springs, Texas, this was my target bird so I need to be satisfied with this picture although I am somewhat disappointed in that I could not coax this male golden cheeked warbler out into the open. He stayed deep in the juniper and oak trees. He seemed more worried about a male cardinal encroaching on his territory. This is not a National Geographic shot by any means, but it is a nice head shot of a very rare and endangered bird and for that I am grateful. April 2008.
