Birds > Stephen  > Animals > Shorebirds
This is a collection of other shorebirds other than herons or egrets. This also includes certain sandpipers that prefer prairies and meadows to the coastal areas plus kingfishers who really are not considered shorebirds but they are exclusively found near water.

Stephen > What is so incredible about finding this upland sandpiper in a field in a pasture in my hometown of Midlothian, Texas is that these sandpiper migrate from Argentina!
