These are hummingbirds from primarily my backyard but there are a few from other parts of Texas as well. They are all ruby throated hummingbirds with just a few images of a black-chinned hummingbird and a buff-bellied hummingbird.

Stephen > This juvenile male ruby throated hummingbird was battling fiercely with another juvenile for control of the often fought over twisted willow tree.  He is looking directly at his nemesis on the other side of the tree.  Midlothian, Texas, September 2008
Stephen > Backing up from the feeder, this ruby throated hummingbird is setting up to move in again on the nectar it obtains from my feeders.  I suppose the nectar is easy pickings, but the hummingbirds still enjoy the flowers in my garden as well.  Midlothian, Texas, April 2009
