These are hummingbirds from primarily my backyard but there are a few from other parts of Texas as well. They are all ruby throated hummingbirds with just a few images of a black-chinned hummingbird and a buff-bellied hummingbird.
The light was quickly fading when this ruby throated hummingbird came into the feeders in the twisted willow tree. This is a 50% crop with a strong flash for fill. Midlothian, Texas, August 2008
