These are hummingbirds from primarily my backyard but there are a few from other parts of Texas as well. They are all ruby throated hummingbirds with just a few images of a black-chinned hummingbird and a buff-bellied hummingbird.
I caught this hummingbird hovering by my feeder. If you look very closely you can just see the tip of its tongue sticking out. My camera's focus points focused more on the body than the face so the eye contact is not as strong as I would like but any time I can get a usable hummingbird in flight picture I am satisfied.
