These are hummingbirds from primarily my backyard but there are a few from other parts of Texas as well. They are all ruby throated hummingbirds with just a few images of a black-chinned hummingbird and a buff-bellied hummingbird.
I see what looks like pollen on its beak but it sure did not want to sip any nectar from flowers when I was watching. I settled for this nice in flight pose. Midlothian, Texas, August 2009
