This is simply a collection of different raptors that I have photographed from in and around my local area and the state of Texas. I had never really realized that there were so many different birds of prey in Texas ranging from the small American Kestrel to the Bald Eagle.
The eagles took a few minutes to clean and rearrange sticks in the nest on this morning. If you look closely you can see that one of the eagles has a stick in its mouth trying to move it around. Llano, Texas, December 30, 2007.
